The demand for ethanol continues to be very impressive. The jump iin production since September, has the plants going at full speed, which is reflected in increased demand. EIA reported last week’s ethanol production at 927k barrels/day (273 million gallons/week), up sharply from 902k bpd (265 mil gal/week) a week ago, and up 12.5% from last year’s corresponding week.
