Effective August 13, BTIC on Bloomberg Commodity Index futures and cleared OTC swaps will be available at CME Group, allowing market participants greater flexibility and control. BTIC transactions enable market participants to execute a basis trade relative to the official close of the underlying index for more efficient cash management. This mechanism is designed to be an efficient alternative to uncleared OTC products and can mitigate the costs associated with fulfilling Uncleared Margin Rule (UMR) obligations. Non-members can trade BTIC on BCOM for just $0.02 per contract. Get the latest information on fees and margins here https://go.cmegroup.com/e/502091/-commodity-index-listings-html/2ysl54/160340175 . Futures trading is not suitable for all investors, and involves risk of loss. Futures are a leverage instrument, and because only a percentage of a contract's value is required to trade, it is possible to lose more than the amount of money initially deposited for a futures product.
